Controlled spray transfer mode. Due to «drop by drop» metal transfer control DC 400.33UKP allows to reach a higher level of weld quality. independent current and wire feed speed control is achieved with the help of quick operating microprocessor and feedbacks, which allow to control and adjust arc parameters more than 1000 times per minute.
Controlled spray transfer technology helps to raise productivity, eliminate burn-throughs and lower edge preparation requirements.
This mode is used for root pass performance in pipeline welding. It ensures root pass with reverse roll in the process of indirect welding without backup plates.
MIG/MAG mode. Conventional welding mode with short circuits is characterised in DC 400.33UKP by high stability and «smooth» arc. Suitable for welding and deposit welding with both solid and flux-cored wire.
The device is perfectly suitable for root pass performance in the process of indirect welding. At the same time, semiautomatic welding is possible as well as welding with the help of automatic welding sets, such as UAST-1 apparatus (made by SPE «Technotron»). Reverse roll is guaranteed. Weld root formed has high mechanical parameters and good metallurgical properties. Welding with controlled spray transfer allows to avoid «pockets» in weld root and to weld light gauge metals in any position without warping.
PM-4.33 feeding mechanism is designed for solid steel, aluminum and flux-cored wire feeding from 0.6 to 2.4 mm in combination with DC 400.33 device or any other device with «strict» current-voltage characteristic.
